  This tour combines a visit to a game reserve and a Zulu village. We leave the city behind and travel west to Tala Game Reserve, 45 mins. from Durban. Enjoy a drive around the reserve - White Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Hippo, many antelope species, as well as a large variety of birds can be seen. Depart for the Valley of 1000 Hills. Lunch at the Pot & kettle. Afternoon as per half day Valley of 1000 Hills Tour.

• Half day Umgeni Bird Park
  
  This bird park is one of the finest in the world, with an extensive collection of exotic & indigenous birds. Watch the Free Flight bird show. Tea and scones included.

• Full day Sani Pass/Lesotho Tour - Lunch included
  
  Depart at 6H30 and travel inland to the foothills of Drakensberg Mountains. At Underberg, transfer into 4x4 vehicles for the drive up the precipitous Sani Pass to Kingdom of Lesotho. Visit a remote Basutho village before lunch at the Sani Top Chalet, the highest pub in Africa at over 3000m & boasting spectacular views. Depart to Underberg and, home.

• Full day Shakaland - Zulu Experience - Lunch included.
  
  Travel north into Zululand, land of the mighty King Shaka, taking you close to his birthplace & the largest Zulu Kraal in the province. At the top of a hill overlooking the Phobane Lake is Shakaland, originally the film set of the 1985 movie "Shaka". This cultural museum will take you into the world of the Zulu people, telling you about their traditions, beliefs & history & entertaining you with their traditional dancing. Lunch will give you the opportunity to taste some of the local cuisine.

• Full day Drakensberg/Rock Art Tour - Lunch included
  
  This tour will take you to Giant's Castle, situated in the world Heritage Site of the Drakensberg Mountains. A 1½ km walk will take you to the caves, decorated with ancient Bushmen paintings. A site guide, will meet you at the entrance and take you through the caves explaining about these amazing people & their rock art. After the tour & the walk back, lunch will be served before we depart for Durban.

• Full day Hluhluwe Game Reserve - Lunch included
  
  This tour takes you north to the famous Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve. This "Big 5" reserve, renowned for it's White Rhino conservation, is 96 000 ha and is very scenic. Search for animals big & small, from Elephant to Dung beetles. Hilltop Camp, which has spectacular views across the reserve, is where you will have lunch.

• Full day Pietermaritzburg City & Butterfly Centre - Lunch included.
  
  Visit the colourful city of Pietermaritzburg, with its rich history of Boers, English & Indians. Visit City Hall, the Tatum Art Gallery & Church of the Vow. Then enjoy a light lunch at Butterflies for Africa. Walk through the butterfly house where you will see beautiful creatures from all over the world.

• Scuba Diving - Day Trip to Aliwal Shoal
  
  Transfer to Umkomaas on the south coast. Kit up and launch for your first dive on the Aliwal Shoal. This area has fantastic reef diving, as well as two wrecks and large numbers of Raggedtooth Sharks from June to November. Breakfast in between dives. Transfer back to your accommodation after your second dive. Gear, 2 dives & transfers included.

• Full day Oribi Gorge & Pure Venom - Includes lunch
  
  This tour will take you south of Durban. Visit the biggest reptile park in the province before travelling even further south to the amazing Oribi Gorge. Walk through some of this nature reserve before lunch at a nearby restaurant - great views. After lunch visit the view sites at the top of the Gorge -home.

Overnight tours & safaris

1 night/2 days - Anglo-Zulu Battlefields

• Day 1 - A 4-hour journey will take you into the heart of Zululand. Visit the Talana Museum (lunch own account) before continuing on to Rorke's Drift Lodge. At 15.15 transfer to the battle of Rorke's Drift -This amazing battle will be presented by a specialist battlefield guide, who will take you back in time to when 110 British soldiers fought off 4000 Zulu warriors through the night of the 22 January 1879. 11 VC's were given out after this hard-fought battle. Dinner
• Day 2 - An early breakfast, then off to the Battle of Isandlwana. Relive this battle where British met Zulu and a day of bloody fighting took place - a huge British defeat!. Depar for Durban at 13H00. Packed lunches provided. DB&B, Rorke's Drift & Isandlwana Battles included.

2 Nights/3 days - Luxury Safari - Phinda Private Game Reserve

• Drive north arriving at Phinda in time for lunch. With beautifully appointed chalets, awesome cuisine & fantastic animal life, these 3 days will really be a treat. Early morning and afternoon game drives will take you in search of the "Big 5" & other animals. Lunch & afternoon tea is served at the main Lodge. Relax by the pool in between meals & game drives. 2 Nights/ 3 days Safari & St.Lucia Wetlands

• Day 1 - Travel north to the town of St.Lucia, situated in a World Heritage Site. Embark on a 2 hour boat cruise on the Estuary, bringing you up close to hippos, crocs & a variety of bird life. From here depart for Hilltop Camp (or similar). Check in before going on a game drive in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Dinner.
• Day 2 - After your morning game drive in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve, a well-earned breakfast will be waiting for you at the Lodge. Relax at the pool or on your balcony until your afternoon game drive in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Dinner
• Day 3 - After a breakfast we'll depart for Illala Weavers -an exciting community based craft shop. Depart for Durban stopping en-route for a snack lunch. DB&B, boat cruise & snack lunch & 3 game drives incl.

3 Night/4 days - Drakensberg & Lesotho

• Day 1 - An early start with packed breakfasts on hand we travel to Underberg. Rest of the day as per full day Sani Pass/Lesotho tour. Once back in Underberg, transfer to the stunning Moorcroft Manor. Relax before dinner. B&B, trip up Sani Pass with lunch included.
